Workspace Project on North Road, London
Altitude Film are a British film company that make beautiful and hard hitting feature films. Their stories mostly focus on ordinary people with extraordinary tales to tell.
The workspace is designed as inviting, collaborative and creative. With a place for any activity whether it be brainstorming, presentations, private meetings or individual work.
Throughout the project the colour palette and added architectural elements stay within the original tone of the existing building.
Flexibility was a big part of this project as different stories require different environments.
The dramatic entrance welcomes guests into the inclusive space with a centralised circular seating area. Two different options show varying table layouts for individual or group work. Two privacy booths are available in the back.
Ground Floor
Mezzanine Floor
Two different furniture options can be rearranged to accommodate intimate screenings or talks. The projector is hidden in the ceiling beam.
Second Entrance
A secondary entrance is created at the back of the building for private film screenings.
Designed as a quiet tunnel, sound proof paneling and blue neon lights mimic the excitement and anticipation of going through a cinema. This transitional space is included in the experience so that viewers get reminded of the importance of journey in the stories that Altitude tells.
